6. Planning update
To consider new planning applications and review planning decisions that have been determined:
a) R26/0623 THE STABLES, HOMESTEAD, COVENTRY ROAD, DUNCHURCH, RUGBY, CV22 6RB for
Demolition of existing detached outbuildings in rear garden and replace with 1no. outbuilding.
b) R26/0551 93, COVENTRY ROAD, DUNCHURCH for Reserved matters application for access, appearance
and scale for plots 1, 2 and 3 following outline planning approval (R24/1090 all matters reserved for
5.no dwellings and demolition.).
c) R26/0764 TOFT HILL, SOUTHAM ROAD, DUNCHURCH, RUGBY, CV22 6NR for Single-storey rear
extension and conversion of garage to living accommodation
d) R26/0645 12, THE HALL CLOSE, DUNCHURCH, RUGBY, CV22 6NP for Convert existing carport to

j) R26/0601 HOMESTEAD FARM, COVENTRY ROAD, DUNCHURCH, RUGBY, CV22 6RB for Variation of
condition 1 (revised site layout) attached to R23/0006 – Approval of reserved matters (appearance,
landscaping, layout and scale) – erection of four detached dwellings, pursuant to outline planning
permission ref no. R19/0878.
7. Confirmation of all Portfolio holders.
8. To discuss the establishment of a Finance Committee/working group.
9. Update on speeding, dangerous driving and traffic in the parish.
10. To obtain an update on Tritax Community Benefit Fund.
11. To discuss the outcome on the meeting with MP Sir Jeremy Wright.
12. Finance and administration
a) To consider invoices and payments received.
b) Authorise payments.
c) To review the finance report for July 2026 and August 2026.
d) To approve the bank reconciliation to 31st August 2026
e) To review bank signatories.
f) To consider any suggestions for the budget setting process for 2027/2028.
g) To consider an updated grant request from the Cricket Club amounting to £5000.
h) To consider quotes for the Library refurbishment.
13. To note the date of the next Dunchurch Parish Council meeting: 12th October 2026.
14. Private Session
Under Section 1, Sub-Section 2 of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 and in view of the
confidential nature of the business about to be transacted, it was felt advisable in the public interest, if
members of the public were present during the consideration of such business, there would be a disclosure to
them of exempt information that the public be temporarily excluded and they are instructed to withdraw. A
resolution is required at the meeting for items to be discussed in Private Session.
