What is Regulation 19?

Regulation 19 is the last opportunity to comment on the Local Plan before it is submitted for independent examination. At this stage, feedback should focus on whether the plan is legally compliant and technically sound according to national planning policy.

Why Your Voice Matters

The Local Plan sets out where new housing, infrastructure, and other developments could happen across the borough up to 2042. It affects the future of our villages and surrounding areas, so it’s important that residents have their say.

How You Can Help

We are asking residents to complete the short online form (takes less than 2 minutes). By completing the form, you will:

  • Provide your name and address
  • Give permission for your response to be included in the coordinated parish submission

Action for Dunchurch and Dunchurch and Thurlaston Parish Councils are working together to coordinate all responses, making sure every resident’s input counts.

Deadline

Please submit your response by 5pm on Friday 13th March 2026 to ensure it can be included in the coordinated parish response.

By working together, we can ensure our community’s views are heard and represented effectively.
