Cara Martin

Cara is a 30-something mother of 2 (slightly feral) boys and a very bouncy dog called Boris. She drinks more tea than she should and not as much water as the experts recommend! Cara is also partial to a nice gin and can’t resist salt and vinegar pringles!

Cara has lived in Dunchurch for over 6 years and joined the parish council during the lockdown summer of 2020.

In her professional life Cara is a psychotherapist with a background of working with troubled, challenging, and vulnerable children and young people and now also specialize in adult trauma. When she’s not trying to wing being a parent, standing in the cold watching a child’s football game, or rushing to after-school clubs she can be found either watching or playing netball with her wonderful group of netters girlies.
