Careless young driver sentenced for causing death of grandmother and serious injury to her husband

Patrols increase as more drivers are charged and banned for drink driving
Two drink drivers were banned and fined by the courts this week after crashing their cars. We also arrested or charged seven others for drink or drug driving offences.

During the national NPCC Operation Limit, we are increasing our enforcement activity across Warwickshire to arrest drink and drug drivers in the run up to Christmas and into the New Year.

Drink drivers banned for a total of 12 years
Five drink drivers have together been banned from driving for a total of 12 years and required to carry out a total of 200 hours unpaid work after being sentenced in court for drink driving related offences.
