Closure of Dunchurch Food Pantry
The Dunchurch Food Pantry (based in the foyer of the Community Library) has now closed. Below are details on how residents in need can access support via Rugby Food Bank’s voucher system and distribution centre.

We are sad to share that the Dunchurch Food Pantry will no longer be running. This was a valued initiative, set up by a volunteer and very generous donors to provide extra food support to those in need within our community. Unfortunately, the Pantry is no longer able to operate.
If you or someone you know requires food support, Rugby Food Bank can assist through their established process. Here’s how the system works:
How to get help from Rugby Food Bank:
- Obtain a foodbank voucher via a local agency — Agencies such as Citizens Advice, housing support services, children’s centres, health visitors, social services or other local charities can assess someone’s situation and issue a voucher if appropriate.
- Contact Rugby Food Bank directly if needed — If you’re not sure which agency to go to, you can call or email the food bank, discuss your situation, and they can connect you with a suitable referral agency.
- Bring the voucher to Rugby’s distribution centre — Present your voucher at the food bank, where it will be exchanged for a three-day emergency food parcel. Volunteers may also offer a welcoming space, discuss dietary requirements, and help signpost other support.
