Matthew Vaughan

Matt moved to Dunchurch in 1986 and attended both the infant and primary schools. He was a member of the Dunchurch First Scout Group and represented the village under-18s cricket team.

Matt remained in Dunchurch until 2001 when he left for university – graduating in 2004 with a degree in Business and Politics. On completion of his studies, he moved to Southampton where he joined Balfour Beatty as a graduate Quantity Surveyor – working on various projects including the Isle of Grain Power Station and the London Olympics.

In 2010, Matt relocated to Knutsford, Cheshire before taking-up roles in Scotland, Switzerland, Azerbaijan and latterly the Netherlands before returning to the UK (and more importantly, Dunchurch) in April 2021.

Matt lives with his partner, Sophie, a Solicitor and Notary Public.
