Speeding and Dangerous Driving
Over the past 12 months, Councillors Sly and Vaughan have been engaging with various Borough and Country Councillors in order to develop a strategy to reduce the incidents of speeding and dangerous driving throughout the parish. Surveys will be undertaken as the first step in the process.

Over the past 12 months, Councillors Sly and Vaughan have been engaging with various Borough and Country Councillors in order to develop a strategy to reduce the incidents of speeding and dangerous driving throughout the parish.
On the afternoon of the 19 January 2024, representatives from Warwickshire County Council (WCC) conducted an initial road survey of Daventry Road, Southam Road, Rugby Road, Coventry Road and Cawston Lane. Following on from this, a draft report has been shared with the DPC which includes preliminary recommendations and outlines the next steps for the implementation of various traffic management schemes. These recommendations are now with the Road Safety Department of WCC for further consideration.
