TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A45 DAVENTRY ROAD, DUNCHURCH/GRANDBOROUGH
Daventry Road, Dunchurch/Grandborough closed to vehicular traffic in both directions between its junction with the M45 Roundabout and Woolscott Road on 18th February.
Dunchurch is a large village and civil parish on the south-western outskirts of Rugby in Warwickshire, England, approximately 2.5 miles (4.0 km) southwest of central Rugby. The civil parish which also includes the nearby hamlet of Toft, had a population of 3,177 at the 2021 Census. The earliest historical reference to Dunchurch was in the Domesday Book in the 11th century which mentioned a settlement called Doncerce. The core of the village has been declared a conservation area because it has many buildings of historical interest. Some of the buildings date from as far back as the 15th centuryare timber framed and still have traditional thatch roofs.
